Pay a Deposit at Booking. Pay the Balance When It's Done.
EEK restructured its payment model around a confirmed deposit at booking and a final balance after job completion. Customers know their exact commitment before the tow truck moves.
No Surprises. No Open-Ended Commitment.
One of the most stressful aspects of emergency services is not knowing what you are agreeing to. EEK resolved this by structuring its payment model in two clear steps: a deposit paid at booking that confirms the job and covers dispatch, and a final balance sent only after the vehicle has been recovered and serviced.
The deposit amount is disclosed before the customer confirms their booking. They know what they are paying now. They know roughly what the balance will be. The final invoice is itemised in full before any payment is requested. At no point is a customer asked to hand over money without a clear explanation of what it covers.
For Customers Who Are Still at the Forecourt
Paying the deposit on the phone — before the tow truck arrives — means the job is confirmed and dispatched immediately. There is no waiting to see whether someone shows up before deciding to pay. The deposit is the commitment from both sides: EEK commits to dispatching a tow operator; the customer commits to using the service. Clear, mutual, and immediate.
