A Dedicated Sub-Agent for Vehicle Identification and Payer Verification
The Rego Collector sub-agent handles the critical step of confirming registration plate, vehicle details, and who is paying before any booking is created.
Vehicle Identity Locked In Before the Booking Starts
Creating a misfuel booking with incorrect vehicle details creates problems downstream: wrong recovery procedure, incorrect invoice, insurance documentation errors. EEK introduced a dedicated Rego Collector sub-agent specifically to handle the vehicle identification step cleanly and accurately before any booking is confirmed.
The Rego Collector confirms the registration plate, cross-references it with the CarJam database, verifies the vehicle details match what the caller described, and confirms who will be paying for the recovery. Only after all of this is confirmed does the job creation proceed. The plate and payer are locked in before the booking is made.
For Insurers
When an insurer reviews an EEK job file, the vehicle registration, make, model, and fuel type are confirmed against the official NZ vehicle register — not transcribed from a caller's memory under stress. The chain of verification is explicit in the job record. This removes a common point of dispute in insurance claims.
